First established in 1980, The Dandenong Sparrows Sporting Club is today widely known as one of the leading multicultural and community clubs.

Based in Dandenong, the club draws its members and players from The City Of Greater Dandenong, The City of Casey and The City Of Kingston and prides itself in offering young athletes an environment and atmosphere conducive to helping them learn, enjoy and reach their fullest potential. Most importantly, the club, aided by the fully certified coaches currently on its roster, provide help and guidance and most importantly instils a real sense of self-confidence and achievement.

The Club also offers an opportunity for the "up and coming" juniors, the established and the "past their prime" adults to enjoy sport at a very competitive level in a warm and friendly environment.
